Puddcast.png
The problem we have is not so many false teachers, but so many Christians accusing each other of being false teachers.
— Frank Viola

Jonathan Edwards wrote “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” which, in my opinion, drastically distorts the character of God and is responsible for major problems in Evangelicalism. Edwards also wrote a brilliant apologetic for emotional outbursts and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, which I wholeheartedly believe in. If the great Jonathan Edwards had blind spots, so do we all. Frank Viola’s latest book, ReGrace, looks at the shocking beliefs of many great Christians in order to help us extend grace to one another when we disagree. We also discussed how the ongoing impact of The Insurgence, his signature work.
