Spent some time praying with my family last night, mostly to do with our financial situation. We hadn't prayed together in a while, so it was nice to do it.
Following that, I retired early, and asked the Lord for a scripture. I said, quite simply, "Father, give me a word, something for my life, not just for now, but about my life in general."
I felt to look up Joel 2:19. It reads :
"The LORD will reply to them:
'I am sending you grain, new wine and oil,
enough to satisfy you fully;
never again will I make you
an object of scorn to the nations.' "
Enough to satisfy you fully! How's that for encouragement! I went and shared it with my parents immediately - they were very glad. Father you are a god of abundant blessing and provision.
