Dancing, Movies and Bush

Zeo rocked my face off. Arguably I was the one doing the rocking, but whatever. My face was off. Right off. I've been told by a few that I was the highlight of there evening. Very touched/surprised/amazed/glorifying of the Almighty. I was even asked to go and play at someone's church (in MacTier), so I'm sorting that out at the mo.

Honestly, God was very good to me on Saturday. I spent a lot of time with him, and time practicing, and he totally filled me up. If every time I play, I am nervous to the same degree I was on Saturday, I could deal with it. Compared with the "More nervous than a month old unwanted fetus" of Camp Tsunami, Saturday was a breeze. But bigups to the Big One cause honestly, He was moving things. Two or three times I had a next record all lined up and was getting ready to do a gradual fade in, and then I just snapped it across instead. And it was brilliant! It really felt like God had control over my hand, which is completely excellent.

Sunday night Maija and I went shopping and failed dismally. Then we went to Milestones and I had one of the best steaks I've ever had. Then we rented and watched Kill Bill Vol. 2. Hehe... good movie. I don't think I liked it as much as Vol. 1, but it was good still. Monday night I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Really cool movie. A little peculiar, but well acted and quite touching.

Then Bush was re-elected president. I had a feeling he would win. I'm quite glad. How could a man who can't manage his own haircut manage a large country?!

Now I'm listening to Neuro, by X-Cabs, which I picked up from the post office tonight. It's friggin excellent.
